About the role
This is the first dedicated design hire. You’ll shape two surfaces: the product UI our Forward Deployed Teams ship inside client operations, and the KnackLabs brand across web, decks, and social.
You’ll inherit a real design system and a strong point of view. Your job is to make everything we put out unmistakably ours, and genuinely usable.
What you'll own
- Design the interfaces for agent and ops-platform products our teams ship.
- Steward and extend the KnackLabs design system and brand.
- Partner with FDEs and PMs to make complex workflows feel obvious.
- Raise the bar on every artifact that leaves the building: site, deck, case study.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years across product and brand design, with a portfolio that proves both.
- You can design a dense data UI and a striking landing page, and care about both.
- Fluent in systems thinking: components, tokens, consistency at scale.
- Comfortable owning ambiguity as the first designer.
Nice to have
- Front-end skills (HTML/CSS, React) to bring designs closer to shipped.
- Experience designing for technical / enterprise audiences.
